3CD

Original mixes. Bob Marley & The Wailers recorded about 150 tracks in these days with the help from the studio cast of Atlantic Records - the vast majority of the songs remain in the vaults, unheard to this day.
1967/68 Bob Marley Soul Almighty - The Formative Years Vol. 1 ?

10/12

CD

An enhanced CD containing some informations about the recording session. Producer Danny Sims notes that "sometimes folks like Eric Gale would be brought in to overdub just one line, like a blues lick". Unfortunately these tracks are not in the original mix, vocals were ‘sweetened’ and some additional guitars and keyboards were dubbed in. ‘Overproduced’ in my opinion.
